The Role of the International Adviser

My role is to support you in all things International - from planning your trip abroad to holding an International evening in your unit.

I can help with the processing of forms, support for group leaders and participants. I also have information and resources for international evenings.

Periodically, the County Adviser team has vacancies, which are all advertised within the County. Please go to Administration in our member’s area of the website, to find out which vacancies are currently available.

All new G/P forms should be sent to the Outdoor Adviser for signature before sending them on to the International Adviser

How far in advance do I need to send off my G/P form?

They need to be sent between 12 and 9 months before the trip

Is there any financial help for those travelling abroad within Guiding?

Yes.  Girlguiding Devon has funds available for grants towards participants and leaders of trips costs
