The Role of the International Adviser

My role is to support you in all things International - from planning your trip abroad to holding an International evening in your unit.

I can help with the processing of forms, support for group leaders and participants. I also have information and resources for international evenings.

All new G/P forms should be sent to the Outdoor Adviser for signature before sending them on to the International Adviser

How far in advance do I need to send off my G/P form?

They need to be sent between 12 and 9 months before the trip

Is there any financial help for those travelling abroad within Guiding?

Yes.  Girlguiding Devon has funds available for grants towards participants and leaders of trips costs
