Okehampton Youth Hostel is on the edge of the moor and offers a variety of outdoor activities, walk or cycle to Meldon Dam or go for a horse ride and enjoy the wonderful scenery. If you are not so energetic there is an outdoor pool in Chagford and indoor ones in Okehampton and Holsworthy.
