My role as Rainbow Adviser is to give support to leaders on the Rainbow Programme, Rainbow overnights and anything linked to Rainbows, and to distribute any matters from South West Region to County.

Challenges are being prepared based on the 25 years and of course there are the other events including the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics.  All these events and challenges should have ideas suitable for Rainbows.

General Information

You can now take away 30 girls on a Rainbow overnight;  Rainbows can also have sleepovers with Brownies.

Can you tell me the number of girls to a leader?

The ratio for Rainbows is 1:5 with a minimum of 2 Adults irrespective of the size

How many girls can I have in my unit?

The maximum amount of girls is 18.  Most units have between 12-15
