Girlguiding

The area is renowned for its coastline and wildlife and both the S.W.Coastal Path and Tarka Cycle Trail are two of the main tourist attractions. We also boast three of the most admired villages:

• Appledore, an historical fishing and maritime village with quaint Georgian and Victorian cottages in narrow cobbled streets;
• Clovelly famous for its steep, cobbled high street and Hartland with impressive rock formations.
• Bideford, our main town, is an historic port with famous Long Bridge and currently home of the restored schooner, Kathleen and May.

Northam Burrows looks over the imposing Pebble Ridge over which lies the 3km long Westward Ho! Beach where you can enjoy most adrenalin filled water sports and kiting.
