Rivers flow through wide river valleys, with rolling green fields either side, into the sea at Seaton. The estuary is rich in bird life, for the best views ride the Tramway from Seaton to Colyton. Then explore Colyton with its narrow streets and shops. Why not visit the market town of Axminster at the head of the valley, where the famous carpets are made.
Take the Land train from Seaton to the picturesque fishing lace making village and of Beer. Train enthusiasts will love Pecorama or for a bit of history visit Beer Quarry Caves.
